These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Braidrr, a marketplace operated by Braidrr Ltd ("Braidrr", "we", "us"). By creating an account or booking a service you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are
Braidrr is a UK-based platform that connects customers with independent beauty professionals ("Providers"). Braidrr is not the provider of the beauty services themselves — Providers are independent contractors responsible for the services they deliver.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Braidrr. By registering you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
3. Bookings and escrow
When you book a service, payment is collected at the time of confirmation and held in escrow by our payment processor (Stripe). Funds are released to the Provider after the appointment is marked complete. Braidrr charges a 10% service fee on completed bookings.
4. Cancellations and refunds
Customers may cancel a pending or accepted booking before the scheduled time, subject to the Provider's cancellation policy. Declined or cancelled bookings are refunded in full to the original payment method, minus payment-processor fees where applicable.
5. Conduct
You agree not to use Braidrr to harass, defraud, or harm any other user. Off-platform contact details exchanged to circumvent fees, hate speech, harassment, and illegal activity will result in account suspension. See our Acceptable Use Policy.
6. Provider obligations
Providers must hold the qualifications, insurance, and licences required to offer their services in the United Kingdom, must accurately describe their work, and must respond to bookings in a reasonable time. Braidrr may verify and de-list any provider at its discretion.
7. Reviews
Reviews are only enabled between parties of a completed booking. Reviews must be honest and based on first-hand experience. We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate these Terms.
8. Liability
Braidrr is a marketplace and acts as an intermediary. We are not liable for the conduct of any user, the quality of any service performed, or for any indirect or consequential loss arising out of your use of the platform. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
9. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that pose risk to the community or platform.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app at least 14 days before they take effect.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
